What boarding families need to know
Sending a child to board is a far larger decision than choosing a day school, and the questions are entirely different: who supervises in the evening, what the rooms are like, how medical issues are handled, what happens at weekends, how often parents can visit or call. Schools present academic programmes and photographs of classrooms, answering none of it. After enrolment, the parent relationship depends almost entirely on communication that currently happens by phone when something goes wrong.
What we build for a boarding school
First, residential life documented in full: rooms, supervision, meals, weekends, medical arrangements — the real subject of the decision. Second, pastoral care and house staff profiles, since parents are choosing the adults who will replace them. Third, the weekly routine published, which lets a family picture the life. Fourth, structured parent communication: scheduled updates, contact arrangements and a portal, so news is not only bad news.
