What parents look for at this stage
Parents of secondary-age children evaluate a school on outcomes: subject offering, exam results, teaching quality, and where graduates go afterwards. Students themselves increasingly influence the choice. Schools that publish a photo gallery and a history page give neither anything to judge, so the decision is made on reputation that nobody can verify. Progress reporting is the second gap: parents learn about a problem at a parents evening, months after the teacher noticed it.
What we build for a secondary school
First, subject and curriculum pages with what each leads to, which is how this decision is framed. Second, outcomes published honestly — exam results, university placements — since that is the whole proposition. Third, teacher profiles with qualifications and subjects. Fourth, a parent portal with grades, attendance and progress, so problems surface in a week rather than a term.
