How a DJ is booked
A client booking a DJ for a wedding or party wants to hear mixes, know whether you have worked their kind of event, understand what equipment is included, and check the date. Most DJs are booked through recommendation and messenger, which works until two enquiries arrive for the same date and neither is confirmed. Equipment confusion is the other recurring problem, since clients assume sound and lighting are included.
What we build for a DJ
First, mix examples and event video, since the sound of the room is what a client is actually buying. Second, event type experience shown, because a wedding, a corporate party and a club night require different capability and clients want the right one. Third, equipment included stated explicitly — sound, lighting, microphones — which prevents the argument on the day. Fourth, pricing packages and live date booking with deposits, so a held date is a confirmed date.
