What custody buyers verify
Wallet and custody products are chosen on a single question: under what circumstances can someone other than the owner move the assets. Retail users want that in plain terms — what happens if the phone is lost, if the company disappears, if a key is compromised. Institutional clients want the formal version: key management architecture, signing policy, audit results and operational controls. Both are usually offered a feature list instead.
What we build for a wallet or custodian
First, the security model explained at two levels, plain for retail and technical for institutional, covering key management and recovery. Second, audit and attestation results published, because in this category an unaudited claim is treated as no claim. Third, supported assets and network coverage kept current, which is a practical selection filter. Fourth, developer documentation and integration guides, since institutional custody is adopted through engineering evaluation.
