How yarn is sourced
A knitter or weaver sourcing yarn works from a specification: count, composition, twist, strength, evenness and colour. Those numbers decide whether your yarn can run on their machines at all. Mills that publish a photograph of the spinning floor are contacted only by people who already know them, which means capacity is filled through agents who hold the buyer relationships and price accordingly.
What we build for a spinning mill
First, a yarn catalogue by count and composition with twist, strength and evenness data, filterable the way a mill customer searches. Second, capacity and machinery published, including monthly output by yarn type, since buyers need to know you can hold a contract. Third, certifications and test reports, a hard gate for export-facing customers. Fourth, sample requests as a structured process, because every yarn relationship begins with a trial run on the customer machines.
