Why programmes get abandoned
Weight programmes are bought on hope and abandoned on silence. The client commits to eight or twelve weeks, comes twice, loses momentum, and the centre only notices when the sessions run out. Before that, the sale itself is difficult: the buyer cannot tell what a programme actually involves, how often they must attend, what is included beyond the headline, and whether it suits their situation. A price list of individual procedures makes them assemble a plan they are not qualified to assemble, so most simply enquire and then go quiet.
What we build for a weight management centre
First, programmes as structured products — duration, visit frequency, what is included, what is measured — rather than a menu of procedures. Second, a bookable initial consultation with an honest description of what it covers, since that is the real first step. Third, a client portal with the plan and progress, which is what converts a purchase into attendance and attendance into a result. Fourth, reminders tied to the schedule, because the drop-out point is predictable and a prompt at the right week is the cheapest retention there is.
