How demand actually behaves
A water park has extreme demand concentration: hot weekends overwhelm capacity while weekdays sit half empty, and the only mechanism for managing it is a queue at the entrance. Visitors cannot tell how busy it is before driving over, groups and schools book by phone, and the highest-value product — season passes — is sold at a counter to people who are already inside, which is exactly the wrong audience and the wrong moment.
What we build for a water park
First, timed entry ticketing with capacity limits, which converts the gate queue into a schedule and lets you price quiet slots differently. Second, live occupancy published, since visitors are trying to guess it anyway. Third, group and school bookings as a structured product with deposits, rather than a phone negotiation. Fourth, season passes sold online, aimed at families before the season rather than at visitors already through the gate.
