Why prospects hesitate
Most people who need financial advice have encountered someone selling a product while calling it advice, so the default assumption is that any adviser is compensated by whoever manufactures what they recommend. Until that is addressed, nothing else on the site is read. The second barrier is that prospects cannot picture the engagement: what happens in a planning process, how long it takes, what they receive at the end, and what it costs.
What we build for an advisory practice
First, the fee model stated plainly at the top — fee-only, commission, hybrid — because it is the question everyone is silently asking. Second, the planning process described step by step with the deliverable, so the engagement is imaginable. Third, credentials and regulatory status, which is the competence filter. Fourth, educational content aimed at decisions people are actually facing, which is how advisers build trust before a meeting rather than during one.
