Why bonded storage is underused
Bonded warehousing allows an importer to defer duty, re-export without paying it, and consolidate shipments before clearance — advantages that materially affect cash flow and are largely unknown to smaller importers. Operators present a storage facility with rates, which sells space rather than the financial benefit. Clients who do use it cannot see their own goods, so every question about what remains in bond requires someone to check.
What we build for a bonded warehouse
First, the customs regimes explained in financial terms: what deferral, re-export and processing actually save, which is the selling argument nobody makes. Second, capacity, rates and handling capability published. Third, client stock visibility in bond with movement history, since goods under customs control need an auditable record both sides can see. Fourth, clearance coordination, because a bonded warehouse that also arranges release is buying the whole problem.
