How components are sourced
Component buyers — assembly plants, distributors, aftermarket sellers — search by OEM part number, by vehicle application, or by specification. A catalogue that lists products by internal name is invisible to all three. Quality certification is the second gate: original equipment supply requires documented quality systems, and aftermarket distributors need to know the part meets the standard they are selling against.
What we build for a parts manufacturer
First, a catalogue with OEM cross-reference and vehicle applicability, since that is literally how every buyer searches. Second, technical specifications and materials per part. Third, quality certification and testing published, which separates an original-equipment supplier from a copy manufacturer in a market full of both. Fourth, supply enquiries by volume and channel, so an assembly plant and a distributor are not routed through the same form, since one is qualifying a long-term supplier and the other is placing a stock order.
