How contract work is awarded
A company outsourcing production evaluates equipment and processes, monthly capacity, minimum order quantity, quality systems, and how confidentially their product and formulation will be handled. They will not send a brief until they are satisfied on all four, and they compare several manufacturers in parallel. A page describing modern facilities and an experienced team gives them nothing to compare, so they choose whichever manufacturer answered their qualification questions without requiring a meeting first. Sampling and tooling costs are the second bottleneck, because a brand planning a launch needs those numbers before it can build a budget at all.
What we build for a contract manufacturer
First, a capability and capacity matrix by process and product type, with monthly output and minimum order stated. Second, quality systems and certifications published, since that determines which markets your customer can sell into. Third, NDA and confidentiality handling described, which is the unspoken concern behind every first enquiry. Fourth, structured quote requests with drawing or specification upload, plus indicative tooling and sampling costs so a brand can plan a launch budget.
