What paint buyers need
A customer choosing paint is matching a product to a surface, a condition and an expectation about durability, and then needs to know how much to buy. Industrial and marine coatings add a further layer: substrate preparation, film thickness, curing and the standard the coating must meet, none of which appears on a consumer-style product page. Colour is the other half of the decision and usually lives only on a physical fan deck in a shop, which limits the choice to whatever the shop happens to stock.
What we build for a paint manufacturer
First, product selection by surface, location and durability requirement, which is the actual decision path. Second, a colour system online with realistic rendering and the ability to find a tinting point. Third, coverage calculators by area and coats, so the purchase quantity is right. Fourth, technical data sheets with preparation and film thickness for industrial products, plus dealer accounts with tinting equipment support.
