How veterinary medicine is bought
Two very different buyers use a veterinary pharmacy. Pet owners need a product for a specific animal at a specific weight, and choose wrongly when a catalogue only lists brands. Farms buy in volume on a treatment calendar, need the same items every season, and cannot wait for a sales manager. Both are blocked by hidden stock, missing dosage information and prescription rules that are never explained until checkout fails.
What we build for a vet pharmacy
First, filtering by species, weight and purpose with dosage guidance in the product card, which is how the choice is actually made. Second, prescription items handled correctly in the logic — listed, reservable, dispensed against a prescription — with the rule stated openly. Third, live stock, because an out-of-stock parasite treatment sends the customer elsewhere permanently. Fourth, treatment-cycle reminders and farm accounts with volume pricing and reorder from history.
