How stationery is bought
Stationery demand concentrates violently around the school year, when parents arrive with a class list and shops cannot serve the queue. The same list, ordered online and collected, would cost nobody anything. The other half of this business is offices, which reorder the same items monthly and currently phone a sales manager. Neither is served by a shop that publishes an address and a photograph of shelves.
What we build for a stationery store
First, school list ordering — a parent enters the class and gets a ready basket — which is the most useful thing this category can build. Second, office accounts with reorder from history and invoicing, since business supply is the steady revenue. Third, bulk pricing and delivery, because offices and schools order by the box. Fourth, stock accuracy in season, as a missing item in August is a lost customer for the whole year.
