How filters are chosen
Customers buy water treatment because of a symptom: limescale, taste, smell, discoloured water, or a general distrust of what comes out of the tap. Presented with a catalogue of systems they cannot match the product to the problem, so they buy the cheapest or nothing. The bigger commercial failure is afterwards: cartridges need replacing on a schedule, almost nobody remembers, and the system quietly stops working.
What we build for a filter retailer
First, selection by symptom and water problem, which is how the need is expressed and the only way the catalogue becomes usable. Second, cartridge subscriptions with replacement reminders, since that is the recurring revenue and the difference between a working system and an ornament. Third, water testing offered as a service, which both diagnoses properly and sells the right system. Fourth, installation booking, because most buyers will not fit it themselves.
