A TronLink dApp frontend for a Web3 organization
For a Web3 client under NDA, a decentralized organization for natural resource extraction and trading, we built the web application frontend and connected it to the TRON blockchain through the TronLink wallet. The core rule was that every sensitive action goes through the user's own wallet, never through credentials held by the application.
What we built
- Application frontend — the dApp interface in Nuxt.js and Vue.js.
- TronLink integration — detecting the browser extension, requesting account access and submitting transactions for the user to sign.
- Wallet state handling — clear paths for a missing extension, a locked wallet, the wrong network and a switched account.
- Backend communication — the layer between the frontend and the organization's Express.js services, which store their data in MongoDB.
How a browser wallet shapes the frontend
With TronLink, the application never holds keys. It asks the wallet for an address, prepares a transaction and waits for the user to approve it in the extension. That moves the hard parts into the interface: knowing whether a wallet is present and unlocked, noticing when the user switches accounts or networks mid-session, and keeping the screen honest while a signature is pending.
Our role
We delivered the frontend and wallet integration over four months. Further details about the organization and its platform remain under NDA.
