What decides an irrigation project
A farm considering drip irrigation is making a capital decision against a constrained resource, and the arithmetic depends on crop, area, terrain and water source. Suppliers present equipment catalogues, which leaves the farmer unable to size a system or estimate what it returns. Subsidy and support programmes frequently decide whether the project happens at all, and almost nobody explains them.
What we build for an irrigation supplier
First, a system design calculator by area, crop and terrain, producing a specification and cost per hectare. Second, water saving and yield evidence from installed projects, since farmers trust neighbours over brochures. Third, subsidy and support programme information, which is often the deciding factor. Fourth, installation and service capability with spare parts availability, because a system that cannot be repaired mid-season is worse than none.
