What car sharing depends on
Car sharing requires an operator to hand a vehicle to a stranger and a driver to accept a car whose previous condition they cannot verify. Both risks are managed by process: identity and licence verification, documented condition at handover, clear insurance terms and a damage procedure that is not a dispute. Users additionally need to see availability nearby and understand the tariff before booking, because surprise charges end the relationship.
What we build for an operator
First, driver verification with identity and licence checks, which is the operator protection and the basis of the whole model. Second, a vehicle map with booking and transparent tariffs, including fuel and mileage rules that otherwise cause disputes. Third, condition documentation at pickup and return, since photographic evidence prevents most damage arguments. Fourth, insurance terms published plainly, plus fleet operations for cleaning, fuelling and maintenance scheduling.
