Why companies implement standards
Most ISO implementations start because a customer or a tender requires the certificate, which makes the deadline the governing constraint. Companies want to know which standard applies, how long implementation realistically takes, what it costs including the certification body fee, and how much of their own staff time is consumed. Consultancies that describe quality management philosophy do not answer any of it and lose to whoever published a timeline.
What we build for an ISO consultancy
First, a page per standard with scope, realistic timeline and total cost including audit fees, since that is the comparison being made. Second, sector experience shown, because implementation in food production and in construction share almost nothing practically. Third, the client effort stated honestly, which is the hidden cost that derails projects. Fourth, a client portal for document management through implementation, plus support through the certification audit itself, which is what clients are really buying.
