Why construction loses money invisibly
A contractor estimates a project, then buys materials from a dozen suppliers, pays subcontractors in instalments, and records site consumption on paper if at all. By completion nobody can say what the project actually cost or where the estimate failed, so the next estimate repeats the same error. Material theft and over-ordering are invisible for the same reason, and subcontractor payment disputes arise because nothing records what was actually done.
What we build for a contractor
First, estimates linked to actual spend, so the variance is visible during the project rather than after it. Second, material and stock tracking per site, which is where losses accumulate unnoticed. Third, site reporting from a phone, including work completed and materials used, because a foreman will not use anything that requires an office. Fourth, subcontractor contracts and payments tracked against completed work, which removes the disputes and shows real project margin.
