What a couple is doing on your site
The decision cycle here is measured in months and almost all of it is reading: forums, reviews, your site, a competitor's, back to yours. The couple cannot tell one programme from another, is afraid of learning the real cost only at the third appointment, and does not know what the protocol includes and what is billed separately. The second visitor is a woman after a failed cycle elsewhere: she is not reading advertising, she is looking for what will be different here, and she studies clinicians and equipment more carefully than any expert would.
What we build for a fertility clinic
First, a protocol cost calculator: base programme, cryopreservation, ICSI, donor programmes, medication — the couple needs the whole range, not the first line of a price list. Second, a patient portal with treatment stages: where she is now, what comes next, which tests before which visit, so a coordinator does not retell it in chat for every patient. Third, paid online consultation, because the first contact is often from another city or country and must close without a flight. Fourth, a structured knowledge base on programmes, indications and preparation — it is what earns the organic traffic and what they read for months before enquiring.
