When assembly is bought
Assembly is needed immediately after a delivery, by someone looking at boxes they underestimated. They want a price for their specific items and someone today or tomorrow. Complex items — fitted kitchens, wardrobes, beds with mechanisms — take far longer and are frequently attempted by customers before they give up and call. Pricing by hour is unhelpful because nobody knows how long it takes; pricing by item is exactly what they need.
What we build for an assembly service
First, pricing per item type and complexity, which is how customers think and what lets them commit immediately. Second, time slots with next-day availability, since this need is urgent by definition. Third, specialist routes for kitchens and fitted furniture, a larger job that should not be priced like a bookshelf. Fourth, damage liability terms published, because a scratched new wardrobe is the dispute this trade generates most.
