Where an independent taxi company competes
Aggregator platforms dominate spontaneous street demand and an independent operator cannot win that on price. What remains and pays better is contract work: corporate accounts with monthly invoicing, scheduled airport transfers, regular staff transport, and clients who want a known driver rather than whoever is nearest. None of that is served by an app, and almost no operator presents it as a product with terms.
What we build for one
First, corporate accounts with invoicing, ride reporting and cost centres, which is the business aggregators serve badly. Second, scheduled and advance booking, including airport transfers with flight tracking, where reliability matters more than immediacy. Third, fare estimation and transparent tariffs, since contract buyers need predictable cost. Fourth, driver recruitment, because fleet capacity is the constraint on taking more contracts, and an operator who cannot recruit cannot grow past the vehicles already owned.
