Why travellers pre-book transfers
Someone arriving in an unfamiliar country pre-books a transfer to avoid negotiating a fare after a long flight, in a language they do not speak, with a driver whose price depends on how tired they look. They want a fixed price, a driver holding a sign, and confidence the booking exists. Services taking bookings by messenger cannot provide that confidence to a traveller who has not arrived yet.
What we build for a transfer service
First, fixed pricing by route and vehicle class, since certainty is exactly what the traveller is paying a premium for. Second, advance booking with immediate confirmation, because an unconfirmed booking made by message is not reassuring from abroad. Third, flight tracking with adjusted meeting times, which prevents the most common failure and the most common complaint. Fourth, clear meeting point instructions and driver contact, plus corporate accounts for the regular business that sustains the service.
