Two kinds of carpet buyer
Retail buyers choose carpet visually — pattern, colour, size — and contract buyers choose it technically: density, pile height, backing, wear rating and fire classification for the building they are fitting. Factories usually publish a photo gallery, which serves the first audience poorly and the second not at all, so contract work goes through specifiers who know which factory meets which standard.
What we build for a carpet factory
First, a collection catalogue with proper photography and size ranges for retail buyers. Second, full technical specification per collection — density, pile, backing, wear and fire rating — which is what puts you into contract specification. Third, custom sizing and project capability, since hotels and offices rarely buy standard dimensions. Fourth, export terms and certification, because carpet travels well and the best contract prices are not local. Sample and swatch requests belong in the same flow, since no specifier commits without touching the product.
