How metal is sourced
Metal is bought by specification: grade, standard, dimensions, tolerance, surface condition and quantity. Buyers search exactly that way, which means a company whose catalogue is not published in searchable form is invisible to everyone who has not already heard of it. Stock availability matters just as much — a buyer needs to know whether the size exists now or has to be rolled, because that difference is weeks. Neither fact is usually online.
What we build for a metallurgical company
First, a full nomenclature with grade, standard and dimensions, filterable the way procurement searches. Second, stock availability per position, separating what is warehoused from what is made to order with its lead time. Third, certificates and test reports available per batch instead of on request. Fourth, RFQ forms capturing grade, dimensions, quantity and delivery terms, which is the difference between an enquiry you can quote and one that starts a week of emails.
