How residents use a municipal site
Residents arrive needing something specific: a certificate, a permit, a pothole fixed, an answer about a utility. They do not know which department owns it and should not have to. Municipal sites organised by administrative structure force that guess, then offer a phone number, so the load returns to the reception desk. Announcements — roadworks, outages, deadlines — are published where nobody looks and then relayed by rumour.
What we build for a municipality
First, task-first pages, one per service, covering eligibility, documents, steps and timeframes. Second, resident requests with tracking, so a reported problem has a status instead of a promise. Third, announcements by district and street with subscriptions, which is how information actually reaches people. Fourth, accessibility to standard and open budget data, because both are obligations and both build the trust local government mostly lacks.
