What a rental agency is for
Owners fear damage, unpaid rent and a tenant who will not leave. Tenants fear losing a deposit, arbitrary eviction and a landlord who ignores a broken boiler. An agency exists to make both risks manageable, and most present themselves merely as a listing service with a commission, which is why both sides try to bypass them. Maintenance is the continuing relationship and is usually handled by phone calls between people who do not like each other.
What we build for one
First, verified listings with real photographs and accurate terms, since the catalogue is the credibility. Second, tenant screening described as a service, which is what an owner is actually paying for. Third, contract and deposit terms published plainly, removing the tenant anxiety that makes them distrust agencies. Fourth, maintenance requests with tracking, because ongoing management is the recurring revenue and the reason both sides keep you involved.
