Who climbs and why they stop
Beginners are intimidated and need to know that instruction exists, what to wear, whether equipment is provided and that they will not be expected to know anything. Regulars care about one thing: which walls have been reset and when, because climbing the same routes gets boring and that boredom is the main cause of lapsed memberships. Neither is usually addressed beyond a price list and a photograph of a wall.
What we build for a climbing gym
First, a beginner path with introductory courses and what a first visit involves, which converts the intimidated majority. Second, route grades and a resetting schedule published, since that is what brings regulars back and what most gyms communicate worst. Third, memberships with online renewal and equipment hire, plus occupancy by hour. Fourth, coaching and youth programmes, which are the durable revenue beyond casual entry.
