What a market is missing online
A market is a collection of independent sellers with no common presence, so a shopper cannot find out what is available, at what price, or which vendors are there today. Vendors, for their part, have no way to take orders in advance or to reach the customers who would buy from them weekly. Meanwhile aggregator apps take that business by building the layer the market never built.
What we build for a market
First, a vendor directory with products and stall locations, which gives the market a shopfront it currently lacks. Second, seasonal availability and indicative prices, the information that decides whether a shopper comes at all. Third, pre-orders and collection, so vendors can prepare and customers skip the search. Fourth, delivery aggregation across vendors, which is the service the apps are monetising and the market could keep.
