How feed is purchased
A livestock or poultry farm selects feed on crude protein, energy, amino acid profile and suitability for the species and growth stage, then buys the same formulation repeatedly for months. Producers who publish product names instead of nutrient data cannot be compared, so they are compared on price alone. Ordering runs through a sales manager, which for a repeat bulk purchase is pure friction.
What we build for a feed producer
First, product pages with full nutrient specifications by species and growth stage, which is the entire selection basis. Second, bulk and bagged pricing with delivery terms, since transport is a large share of the delivered cost. Third, trade accounts with reorder from history, because a farm buys the same formulation every month. Fourth, custom formulation as a service, which is how a producer keeps a large farm from moving to a competitor.
