How turkey demand behaves
Turkey sells in sharp seasonal peaks to households and restaurants who all want the same weight range in the same fortnight. Orders arrive by phone, are written down, and collide. Outside the peak there is a steady restaurant and deli market for portioned product that most farms never reach, because reaching it requires a processing option and a supply commitment nobody has published.
What we build for a turkey farm
First, pre-orders by weight grade with deposits, ahead of the seasonal peak, which removes almost all of the chaos. Second, processing options offered as products — whole, portioned, smoked — since that is what turns a seasonal bird into year-round revenue. Third, restaurant supply accounts with standing orders and delivery days. Fourth, breeding stock and poult sales, a real market for anyone entering this business and one with very few visible suppliers.
