What used car buyers are checking
A used car buyer spends most of their time looking for reasons not to buy: accident history, real mileage, hidden repairs, who owned it. A listing with five photos and a price gives them nothing, so they assume the worst and keep looking. Dealers who publish an inspection report, the service history and honest photographs of the defects sell faster and argue less, because the buyer arrives already informed rather than searching for what was concealed.
What we build for a used car dealer
First, an inspection report attached to each vehicle, including the flaws, which counterintuitively sells the car rather than losing it. Second, history and mileage disclosure as structured fields, not prose. Third, a finance calculator showing the full cost including preparation and transfer, since that is what a buyer actually pays. Fourth, trade-in capture inside the listing, because the old car is usually part of the deal and asking about it later loses the thread.
