Why expertise is commissioned
Building assessment and technical expertise is bought in three situations: a defect dispute, a purchase decision, or a regulatory requirement. In the first two the client needs a report that will withstand challenge, which means your licensing, methodology and independence matter more than price. In the third they need speed. Firms that publish a service list without credentials or report examples cannot be distinguished from consultants whose reports get dismissed.
What we build for an expertise firm
First, services by situation — defect assessment, pre-purchase inspection, regulatory expertise — since that is how clients arrive. Second, licensing, accreditation and methodology published, because an unchallengeable report is the product. Third, report formats and examples, so a client knows what they receive and can judge whether it serves their purpose. Fourth, turnaround times and booking with object details, since most of this work carries a deadline.
