How fencing is bought
A customer fencing a plot knows the perimeter length and wants a price per running metre for the type they have in mind. Automated gates are a different and much larger purchase, involving motors, controls, safety sensors and power supply, which most installers mention only after the visit. Ground conditions and slope change the installation cost significantly and are discovered on site, producing revised quotes that customers experience as a bait and switch.
What we build for an installer
First, pricing per running metre by fence type and height, which is exactly how the customer thinks about it. Second, gate automation as a configured product with motors, controls and safety options priced, since that is the high-value half. Third, ground condition factors explained up front, so a revised quote is expected rather than resented. Fourth, measurement booking and installation scheduling, plus galleries showing each type installed on a real plot.
