Two kinds of tailoring customer
One customer needs a simple alteration and wants to know the price and how long it takes, especially when there is an event on Saturday. The other is commissioning made-to-measure clothing and needs to understand the process, the fittings, the fabric options and the cost. Tailors serve both from a shop with no published information, so the first group guesses and the second group, who pay far more, never finds them at all.
What we build for a tailor
First, alteration pricing by garment and operation with turnaround, including express options, since deadlines drive this trade. Second, made-to-measure presented properly: process, fittings, fabric options and price ranges, which is the higher-value work. Third, fitting appointment booking, replacing the drop-in that may find the tailor busy. Fourth, a portfolio of completed work, because commissioned clothing is bought on evidence of craft.
