How late-night venues are chosen
Late-night decisions are made on a phone by a group already out, and the questions are simple: are you open, is there space outside, is there music tonight, and can we get a table for six. Venues that answer with a phone number nobody hears over the room lose those groups. Seasonal terrace capacity doubles the venue in summer and is invisible online, and event nights are announced in posts that scrolled away yesterday.
What we build for one
First, hours and tonight status published prominently, since that is the entire question at eleven at night. Second, terrace and indoor capacity with booking, because groups need a table held and will not gamble. Third, an events and music calendar, which is the reason to come on a specific night rather than any night. Fourth, a menu that updates seasonally, plus photography of the space as it actually looks after dark.
