Who buys from a bakery
A bakery has three customers and one website that serves none of them. The walk-in wants to know what is available today and until when. The person ordering a cake for Saturday needs to specify size, flavour and pickup time, and currently does it through a chat that takes ten messages. The café or shop buying wholesale needs trade prices, minimum quantities and a standing order, and gets sent to the same retail page as everyone else.
What we build for a bakery
First, a daily assortment you toggle yourself, so sold-out items disappear and today's bake is what visitors see. Second, custom cake ordering as a real form: size, flavour, decoration, date and pickup slot, with a deposit. Third, wholesale accounts with trade pricing and repeat orders, kept apart from retail. Fourth, pickup scheduling, which spreads the counter queue and stops the phone ringing during the morning rush.
