How glass gets specified
A facade designer or architect specifies glass by its performance: thickness, lamination, coating, thermal transmittance, solar factor and acoustic rating. They also need to know what you can process — tempering, lamination, cutting sizes, maximum dimensions — because that determines whether their design is buildable with your product. Manufacturers who present a gallery of buildings are not specifiable, so they supply to whoever imports the specification and fabricates it locally. Safety certification is a hard gate on any glazing used in public or high-rise work.
What we build for a glass manufacturer
First, product pages with full performance data — thermal, solar, acoustic, safety classification — which is the language of specification. Second, processing capability and maximum dimensions, since that constrains what an architect can draw. Third, certification and test reports published, mandatory for safety glazing. Fourth, project references with glass types and scale, plus fabricator ordering with stock and cutting services.
