What a bazaar is missing
A bazaar is the largest retail concentration in most cities and has almost no online presence beyond its name on a map. Shoppers cannot find which row sells what, cannot compare prices before travelling, and cannot tell who is trading today. Vendors cannot reach customers beyond the aisle. The market operator has a third business entirely — leasing stalls — and prospective traders cannot find terms, availability or footfall data anywhere.
What we build for a market
First, a vendor directory by row and product category, which is the shopfront a bazaar structurally lacks. Second, indicative price information by product, since shoppers plan around it and currently rely on rumour. Third, stall rental with availability and terms, because filling units is the operator actual revenue. Fourth, delivery aggregation across vendors, the service that platforms are monetising and the market could keep for itself.
