Two audiences for a mall
Shoppers want to know which brands are in the mall, where they are, what promotions are running and what events are on this weekend. Tenants and prospective tenants need entirely different material: available units, footfall data, lease terms and anchor tenants. Malls usually publish a news feed that serves neither, so shoppers check individual brand pages and leasing enquiries arrive through a general contact form.
What we build for one
First, a tenant directory with floor navigation and categories, which is the most-used feature on any mall website. Second, promotions and an events calendar, since that is what turns a shopper into a visitor on a specific day. Third, a leasing route with available units, footfall data, floor plans and terms, because filling units is the mall business. Fourth, practical information — hours, parking, transport — which decides a family visit.
