What a booking platform must get right
A booking platform is trusted by customers to hold a real reservation and by suppliers to fill capacity without conflicts. Both trust collapses on a double booking. Availability has to be accurate across every channel a supplier uses, cancellation policies have to be enforced consistently, and payments have to split correctly between the platform and the supplier without manual reconciliation every month.
What we build for one
First, real-time availability with booking holds across every connected channel, since conflicts are the failure that ends supplier participation. Second, supplier onboarding and inventory management they can operate themselves, because a platform where staff enter inventory cannot scale. Third, payment handling with automatic commission splitting and payouts, removing the reconciliation that consumes a finance role. Fourth, cancellation and refund policies enforced automatically, which is where disputes originate when handled by hand.
