Three markets from one vineyard
Table grape buyers screen on variety, berry size, colour and firmness for transport. Raisin processors screen on sugar content and drying suitability. Juice producers screen on yield and acidity. Each is a different contract at a different time, and a vineyard presenting itself as a grape grower is legible to none of them, so the harvest goes to whichever intermediary arrives with a truck.
What we build for a vineyard
First, variety pages grouped by destination — table, drying, juice — each with the parameters that market uses. Second, harvest windows and expected tonnage, which is what allows forward contracting. Third, storage and packing capability for table grapes, since transport handling decides the export price. Fourth, enquiry routing by market and volume, so a raisin processor and a retail chain are not funnelled through the same form.
