Why cucumber trade is hard
Cucumbers move fast and spoil faster, so the trade runs on immediacy: what is cutting this week, in what calibre, in what packaging, and at what price. That conversation currently repeats by phone with every buyer, every week, and a grower who cannot answer quickly loses the load to one who could. Winter production, where the margin actually is, needs buyers lined up before the season rather than found during it.
What we build for a cucumber greenhouse
First, a weekly availability page with calibre, packaging and volume, updated by you without a developer. Second, a supply calendar showing winter and summer windows, since buyers plan contracts around them. Third, structured orders capturing volume, packaging and delivery day, so nothing is renegotiated from scratch. Fourth, pre-season contract enquiries, which is how a greenhouse secures its winter output instead of selling it into a spot market.
