What postal customers need
Most of the queue at a post office is people asking what something costs to send, whether an item is allowed, which documents are needed for an international parcel, and where their package is. Each of those is information, not service. Business senders, who provide the volume, need accounts, bulk shipping tools and integration, and currently use the same counter as everyone else.
What we build for a postal operator
First, tariff calculators by weight, destination and service, with restrictions and prohibited items stated, which removes the largest part of the queue. Second, a branch and locker locator with hours and services, since not every branch offers everything. Third, tracking that actually updates, plus customs declaration preparation for international parcels. Fourth, business shipping accounts with bulk tools and an API, which is where the volume is and where private couriers are taking it.
