Two markets from one orchard
Fresh apricots have a short window and a fragile journey; dried apricots store, travel and sell for twelve months to buyers who screen on variety, drying method, sulphur treatment and moisture. Most growers sell the fresh crop at harvest and hand the drying margin to someone else, because nothing on their side reaches the buyers who purchase dried fruit by the container.
What we build for an apricot farm
First, separate pages for fresh and drying varieties, each with calibre, sugar content and intended market. Second, a dried fruit line with drying method, moisture and treatment stated, which is exactly what export buyers qualify on. Third, certificates and lab results published, since dried fruit export is document-driven. Fourth, multilingual enquiry routing by volume, because a container buyer should not queue behind a retail question.
